REUNIVERSE has completed production and now is on the stage of post production.
Synopsis
Helen and Mariza are in the beach. This is the night of their graduation from Law school. They have been close friends since when they were children.They are drinking alcohol and they are discussing about their childhood dreams about making it in the film industry. While they are talking about their future plans they are getting in a fight. Mariza wants to go abroad. Helen asks her what are she going to do about Orestis but Mariza doesn’t seem to care much about that. Helen is getting mad because about Mariza’s lack of interest because she has feelings about Orestis too. Mariza perceives that reaction from Helen as jealousy of her upcoming professional success. They continue the drinking. Mariza dares Helen about which of the two is going to swim first to the buoy which is located very far from the beach inside the turbulent sea. Helen asks her what the reason behind the bet. Mariza answers that whoever arrives first at the buoy is going to be the best of the duo. Without further thinking they are taking their clothes off and they jump to the sea. Mariza is soon very near to the buoy but she hurts her leg. Helen listens Mariza’s voice asking for help. Helen hesitates for a moment. Mariza drowns.
10 years have passed and the group of old friends is going to have a reunion memorial service for Mariza. The reunion is the same day with the day that Mariza drowned and a strange phenomenon is going to happen in the city, a mist that is approaching very slowly from the sea. Helen is going to the party with Andreas, her boyfriend.
As soon as they get into the building they meet the building’s doorman. He seems mysterious and creepy. He stalls them and he starts telling them about how rare is the mist that is going to happen today and about the history of the building. Furthermore he warns them about not using the elevator because its going to be a weird night and he is expecting many power outages. They ignore him and they enter the elevator.
They arrive at Vaggeli’s apartment. Vaggelis is happy about his life. He is a food vlogger and there is gossip about him being metrosexual. Andreas finds out that he is gay right away but the group doesn’t seem ready to accept that. Nancy greets them at the door and she is crying tears of joy because Helen made it to the party. She is not very stable mentally. She was hospitalized in an asylum in the past and her reactions are strange. Orestis is at the party too, the bone of contention between Helen and Mariza. He has a career abroad. Euthimis is there too, a simple and unsophisticated man. An altar is in the apartment with a big and not very well executed painting of Mariza with many photos surrounding the wooden frame. As the night goes they are many surprises in store that include the sinister return of Mariza!
